To all users of the Life is Feudal Server.
in light of recent events on the server and constant bitching and moaning about cheating and exploits, i am at a point where i have a few options.
as a general note so everyone is clear. the server rules have always been posted and it has been clear that this is an early stage of a game and everyting is fluid. every change to the server has been in the best interest of the server and not to benefit one group or another
i have a few options at my disposal right now:
1. do nothing, let everyone continue to bitch and moan and then stop paying for the server subscription and everyone loses all of the work they have put in and you move on to differnt servers.
2.set the current rules, wipe the server and everyone lives with the rules until we are forced to wipe again. (this means no bitching at what you think is unfair and the admins making the server more balanced as we go)
3. dont wipe the server and continue to update the server rules and guidlines as we find things that are unbalanced. change as we go. be as accomodating as we can with a game that is very early alpha and inherantly unbalanced.
let me be exeedingly clear about this next point. the admins on the server are not here to do nothing but police and control your bitching and whining. they are here to play the game just like everyone else. they are available when needed to remedy situations that arise and warent attention. just because they play with a particular group does not mean that they are giving them any special abilities or favor. there are admins that play with multiple groups on the server.
